What categories of data do we process?
ASSOCIATION FOR THE PROMOTION OF BROCCOLI CONSUMPTION (+BRÓCCOLI), processes the following categories of data:
- Identification data: name, surname, postal address, email address, postal code, telephone number, town, etc.
- Personal data when they are entered in any of the forms (name, date of birth…).

The data that are marked with an asterisk (*) on the forms provided by +BRÓCOLI, through its online platforms, will be necessary to comply with the established contractual or legal purpose.

Who are the recipients of the data?
Your personal data may be communicated by +BRÓCOLI to:
- The State Security Forces and Corps by virtue of the provisions of the Law.
- Service providers to manage the processing of data described in the privacy policy, in accordance with current data protection regulations. These providers will not process your data for their own purposes that have not been previously informed by +BRÓCOLI. In this sense, it is important that you know that some of these external providers may be located outside of Spain, so international data transfers may occur in case of acceptance.
How long will we keep your personal data?
Your data will be kept for the time necessary to carry out the purposes for which they were collected, unless the user requests their cancellation from +BRÓCOLI, opposing or revoking their consent. +BROCOLI will treat the data at all times in an absolutely confidential manner and maintaining the mandatory duty of secrecy with respect to them, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations, adopting for this purpose the necessary technical and organisational measures to guarantee the security of your data and prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of the technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
+BROCOLI reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy in order to adapt it to the new legislation that may be appropriate. In such cases, it will announce the changes introduced on the Website with reasonable notice of their implementation.
+BROCCOLI’S COMMITMENT TO DATA PROTECTION
+BROCOLI (hereinafter, the data controller), assumes the maximum responsibility and commitment to the establishment, implementation and maintenance of this Data Protection Policy, guaranteeing the continuous improvement of the data controller with the aim of achieving excellence in relation to compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJEU L 119/1, 04-05-2016), and Spanish legislation on the protection of personal data (Organic Law 3/2018, sector-specific legislation and its implementing regulations).
+BROCOLI’s Data Protection Policy is based on the principle of proactive responsibility, according to which the data controller is responsible for compliance with the regulatory and jurisprudential framework that governs said Policy, and is able to demonstrate this to the competent supervisory authorities.
In this sense, the data controller will be governed by the following principles that must serve all its staff as a guide and reference framework in the processing of personal data:
- Data protection by design: the data controller will apply, both at the time of determining the means of processing and at the time of the processing itself, appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as pseudonymisation, designed to effectively apply the principles of data protection, such as data minimisation, and to integrate the necessary guarantees into the processing.
- Data protection by default: the controller will apply appropriate technical and organisational measures with a view to ensuring that, by default, only personal data that are necessary for each of the specific purposes of the processing are processed.
- Data protection in the information life cycle: measures that guarantee the protection of personal data will be applicable during the entire life cycle of the information.
- Lawfulness, loyalty and transparency: personal data will be processed in a lawful, loyal and transparent manner in relation to the data subject.
- Purpose limitation: personal data will be collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes, and will not be further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes.
- Data minimisation: personal data will be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
- Accuracy: the personal data will be accurate and, if necessary, updated; All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that personal data that is inaccurate with respect to the purposes for which they are processed is deleted or rectified without delay.
- Limitation of the retention period: personal data will be kept in such a way as to allow the identification of the data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes of the processing of the personal data.
- Integrity and confidentiality: Personal data will be processed in such a way as to ensure adequate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, through the application of appropriate technical or organisational measures.
- Information and training: one of the keys to guaranteeing the protection of personal data is the training and information provided to the personnel involved in the processing of the same. During the information lifecycle, all personnel with access to the data will be suitably trained and informed about their obligations in relation to compliance with data protection regulations.
+BROCOLI’s Data Protection Policy is communicated to all personnel responsible for the processing and made available to all interested parties.
Consequently, this Data Protection Policy involves all the staff of the data controller, who must be aware of it and assume it, considering it as their own, each member being responsible for applying it and verifying the data protection regulations applicable to their activity, as well as identifying and providing the opportunities for improvement that they consider appropriate with the aim of achieving excellence in relation to its compliance.
This Policy will be reviewed by the Management of +BROCOLI as many times as it deems necessary, in order to adapt, at all times, to the provisions in force regarding the protection of personal data.
